Breathwork is sweeping the wellness industry and spiritual communities are even calling it “the new yoga” — and for good reason! Your breath is your most powerful healing tool and you have access to it at all times.
There are many kinds of breathwork and meditation techniques taught across the globe. Sarah Lane specializes in teaching Conscious Connected Breathing, which is a 3-part breath technique followed by a guided meditation & visualization.
Each Breathwork journey is unique based on the time restraints, theme, and container (virtual or in-person) however Sarah’s loving style will allow you to self-regulate and feel safe/held to express yourself through breath, sound, and movement. You can expect to experience the 3-part breathing technique, a series of breath retentions (breath holds), and a powerful guided meditation/visualization to take you deeper into the experience.

Your private session is customized based on your intention and the specific problem you’re looking to solve through Breathwork.
Group Breathwork Classes
Breathwork is an excellent addition to parties, ceremonies, corporate gatherings, and retreats. A cohesive experience that brings people together on a soul-level, Breathwork can make your event extra special with memories that last a lifetime. Sarah also hosts group Breathwork classes online and in-person (San Diego) which she announces regularly on her Instagram and email list.

The biggest challenge prior to working with Sarah was my connection with spirituality. I had a very rough couple of years, with a final explosion not long before Sarah came into my life. Needless to say therapy, exercise and other interventions were not working- I needed a spiritual connection that I was lacking. Sarah didn’t just give me that connection, instead she led me to find it myself, which, in my opinion, is far more valuable. She provided me with all of the tools I needed to help find my spirituality, which in turn has helped me begin my journey of healing. I’ve become someone who leans more on my intuition, speaks my truth, communicates fairly and takes a breath before I speak or act. Sarah’s presence as my spiritual mentor and her ability to hold space for me has not been found in another mentor that I’ve crossed paths with thus far.
How to Prepare for Breathwork
- It is recommended to refrain from eating 1-2 hours prior to practicing breathwork. Water is fine.
- You want to be laying down on your back for this practice. Laying on a yoga mat is preferred. and a blanket. Your body temperature may change during this practice, so blankets and layers are encouraged.
- Do not put any pillows under your head to keep the airways clear
- Have a journal & pen handy to write down any thoughts, ideas, or insights that come through after your practice
- Have a water bottle nearby for after your practice; hydrate after your practice!
- Bring your favorite crystals and any other magical items you’d like to create a healing space.
- If practicing virtually, let any other members of your household know not to disturb you during this time and put the device you are using for this event on Do Not Disturb. Turn all other devices off.

As a Breathwork Guide, Embodiment Coach, Reiki Healer, and Yoga Instructor, Sarah Lane empowers humans to heal themselves through the power of breath & movement so they can live with purpose, intention, and love.
With 11 years yoga experience and 3 years Breathwork experience, Sarah embodies the mind-body-soul connection while empowering you to find your own guidance through connecting with your body’s wisdom and Higher Power.
While teaching yoga, Sarah deepened her passion for pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) which later inspired her journey to practice Conscious Connected Breathing and other transformational Breathwork techniques. She now facilitates Breathwork journeys via private sessions and group workshops that inspire, heal, and breathe new life into all who experience them.
Sarah provides a safe, non-judgmental container for emotions to not only be felt, but to be transmuted into the light. She believes that going within and extracting the wisdom that the body holds is the best way to overcome limiting beliefs while receiving clear direction on the life path ahead.
Sarah resides in North County San Diego where she enjoys dancing on the beach and hiking in nature.
